Mattia born in Italy in 1987, from the Southeast of the Peninsula. He grew up enjoying bushwalks, fishing, a lot of readings and playing soccer.

After High School he went to University in his hometown for the first two years, studying Political Science and International Relationships. At the age of 20 he moved to Paris, completing his Italian degree and at the same time studying Human Science with majors in Sociology and Anthropology at Paris III, Nouvelle Sorbonne in Paris. At the age of 24, after completing his studies with a thesis on “the new ecology in Cuba” he moved to Australia.  The first year was just a big travel around the Country, backpacking and exploring. He went to Alice Springs at first to participate to a festival, called Wide Open Space. At the time he falls in Love with the Northern Territory, making the decision to make of this place his new home. 

Since then, Mattia starts his carrer as a Tour Guide.  His first and the most important experience was with On Tour NT. He worked with them for over 5 years, being sponsored as a Marketing Specialist and International Tourism Specialist. He grew up as a VIP tour guide, working mainly with international charters in many languages. (english, spanish, french and Italian). Flexibility, customer service, a lot of studies and preparation. On Tour NT was operating between Alice, Uluru, Kings Canyon, Darwin, Kakadu. In the meanwhile, Mattia studies for his Kakadu Accreditation, Uluru Kata Tjuta Accreditation. He also gets a Diploma in Hospitality Managment, and a Diploma in Marketing and Communications. 

Mattia gets the opportunity to grow his tour guiding experience in 2018, with an experience of two months in Sudan, as a tour guide employed by “I Viaggi di Maurizio Levi”, as a tour escort in Chinese Tibet for two weeks and a travel to Peru, where he spent two months with the local Indigenous People, the Shipibo. 

Back to the Territory he kept working as a tour guide as an independent contractor for many companies in the Centre, mainly employed for international charters. Then Covid happened and tourism was shut down. Mattia worked in Alcohol and Other Drugs rehabilitation with Bush Mob in Alice and Mission Australia in Darwin. He looked after young indigenous people, learning a lot by them and by the elders.

When Covid seemed to have wiped out the tourism from the NT, his best work experience happened. It was with Outback Elite Tours, a company created by his friend Filippo.  It was an inspiration, and from that time the idea of creating a new personal business was a little seed waiting for the right time to germinate.  Small individual tours, always VIP and private with the best customer service you can get, as in a 5 stars Hotel.

This season Mattia has worked with Autopia Top End and Central Australia. A very beautiful young team, very experienced guides and a lot of learning experiences.

Mattia also work at the Northern Territory Wildlife Park.
